TRACEY JONES PHOTOGRAPHY
Devoted to taking amazing photos and sharing the knowledge of how to do so!
Tracey is an underwater and nature photographer based in Australia. After completing a degree in photography, she spent five years in South East Asia before coming to Australia. She has been here since February 2017.
Currently living in Port Douglas, Tracey works on boats which visit the Great Barrier Reef daily. Here she photographs the tourists both on board the boat and in the water. She also regularly gets the opportunity to photograph the amazing marine life and corals found on the reef.
In March 2019 Tracey became the president of the Douglas Photographic Society, a group of local photographers who have regular outings and workshops, along with an annual exhibition of their work. This has given Tracey the chance to share her knowledge of photography and try out some new techniques.
In her free time, Tracey is often out with her camera trying to get shots of local wildlife and landscapes. You will often hear her say "Photography is my life and I love it!"
Dedicated to training photographers to improve their skills and knowledge base to ultimately produce the best possible images.
I still was not quite clear about correct F-stop / aperture settings, shutter speed,ISO, lighting and strobe placement and other skills.
Sitting with Tracey for 1 hour cleared so much of my understanding of these topics up for me. She is very good at setting a pace for learning , exactly from where I was at and her written materials on these subject (her own course literature) had such concise wording and graphical examples that I left that 1st hour much better prepared for the next day of diving and UW photography.
Review from Donovan Tyler After taking a few specialty courses.
I will reread your review, maybe take notes and do some “excercice” pictures to see the difference (high vs. small ISO etc.). Something I already do, but now I know better on what to work on
