Whether you bought your camera to explore a creative hobby or received it as a gift, chances are you were excited… until you saw all the buttons, dials, and settings. I get it—I’ve been there myself! That’s exactly why I created this hands-on, beginner-friendly weekend course: to help you finally take control of your camera and start capturing the photos you've always wanted to take. Over two relaxed but practical 4-hour sessions (10am–2pm Saturday and Sunday), we’ll cover everything you need to build a solid foundation in photography. Each day includes a 30-minute lunch break—feel free to bring your own lunch, and make use of the kitchen facilities on site (fridge, microwave and kettle provided). You’ll learn: -How a camera works - What all the buttons do - The basics of good composition - How to choose the right white balance - Understanding the exposure triangle - How to focus for sharp, well-balanced shots This course is designed for anyone with a DSLR or mirrorless camera—no prior knowledge needed, just a willingness to learn and experiment.
